The Moonlighters are the duo of pianist and vocalist Brian James and vocalist Jo Guinn, two seasoned musicians with over 1,000 songs in their repertoire — country, pop, Motown, rock and nearly any other genre, from the '50s through today. A Lawrence University graduate, Brian uses keyboards, backing tracks and a vocal harmonizer to deliver a five-piece sound with a two-piece footprint, while Jo — who has sung with Oshkosh choirs and Appleton's newVoices — brings harmonies and a sultry tone suited to jazz, soul and country. Together they read the crowd and bring just the right groove, from kick-back-and-relax to get-up-and-dance.
